Examples of the Prophet
Muhammad’s Sayings

n {The believers, in their love, mercy, and kindness to one another are like a body: if any part of it is ill, the whole body shares its sleeplessness and fever.}1
مثل المؤمنين فى توادهم وتعاطفهم وتراحمهم كمثل الجسد الواحد اذا اشتكى منه عضو تداعى له سائر الجسد بالسهر والحمى

n {The most perfect of the believers in faith are the best of them in morals. And the best among them are those who are best to their wives.}2
اكمل المؤمنين ايمانا احسنهم اخلاقا

n {None of you believes (completely) until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.}3
لا يؤمن احدكم حتى يحب لاخيه ما يحب لنفسه

n {The merciful are shown mercy by the All-Merciful. Show mercy to those on earth, and God will show mercy to you.}4
الراحمون يرحمهم الرحمن ارحموا من فى ارض يرحمكم من فى السماء

n {Smiling at your brother is charity...}5
تبسمك فى وجه اخيك صدقه

n {A good word is charity.}6
الاحسان افضل مراتب الدين

n {Whoever believes in God and the Last Day (the Day of Judgment) should do good to his neighbor.}7
من يؤمن بالله واليوم الاخر فليكرم جاره

n {God does not judge you according to your appearance and your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and looks into your deeds.}8
(إن الله لا ينظر إلى أجسامكم ولا إلى صوركم ولكن ينظر إلى قلوبكم وأعمالكم)

n {Pay the worker his wage before his sweat dries.}9
أعط للاجير حقه قبل ان يجف عرقه

n {A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well, he descended into it, drank his fill, and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst. The man said, “This dog is feeling the same thirst that I felt.” So he went down into the well again, filled his shoe with water, and gave the dog a drink. So, God thanked him and forgave his sins.} The Prophet was asked, “Messenger of God, are we rewarded for kindness towards animals?” He said: {There is a reward for kindness to every living animal or human.}10
أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال بينا رجل يمشي فاشتد عليه العطش فنزل بئرا فشرب منها ثم خرج فإذا هو بكلب يلهث يأكل الثرى من العطش فقال لقد بلغ هذا مثل الذي بلغ بي فملأ خفه ثم أمسكه بفيه ثم رقي فسقى الكلب فشكر الله له فغفر له قالوا يا رسول الله وإن لنا في البهائم أجرا قال في كل كبد رطبة أجر

n {I credenti, nel loro amore, misericordia e benevolenza gli uni con gli altri sono come un corpo: se qualunque parte è malata, il corpo intero condivide l'insonnia e la febbre.}1
مثل المؤمنين فى توادهم وتعاطفهم وتراحمهم كمثل الجسد الواحد اذا اشتكى منه عضو تداعى له سائر الجسد بالسهر والحمى

n {Il migliore dei credenti nella fede è il migliore nella moralità. E il migliore tra di loro è colui che è il migliore con le sue mogli.}2
اكمل المؤمنين ايمانا احسنهم اخلاقا

n {Nessuno di voi crede (completamente) fino a che non ami suo fratello come sè stesso.}3
لا يؤمن احدكم حتى يحب لاخيه ما يحب لنفسه

n {I misericordiosi sono mostrati misericordiosamente dal Misericordioso. Mostra la misericordia a essi sulla terra e Dio ti mostrerà la misericordia.}4
الراحمون يرحمهم الرحمن ارحموا من فى ارض يرحمكم من فى السماء

n {Il sorriso di tuo fratello è carità...}5
تبسمك فى وجه اخيك صدقه

n {La carità è una buona parola.}6
الاحسان افضل مراتب الدين

n {Chiunque crede in Dio nell'ultimo giorno (il giorno del giudizio) dovrebbe fare del bene al suo vicino.}7
من يؤمن بالله واليوم الاخر فليكرم جاره

n {Dio non ti giudica secondo l'aspetto e le ricchezze, ma Lui scruta il tuo cuore e le tue azioni.}8
(إن الله لا ينظر إلى أجسامكم ولا إلى صوركم ولكن ينظر إلى قلوبكم وأعمالكم)

n {Paga al lavoratore il suo stipendio prima che il suo sudore si asciughi .}9
أعط للاجير حقه قبل ان يجف عرقه

n {Un uomo camminava per la sua strada molto assetato. Raggiunse un pozzo, vi si calò, bevve a sazietà e risalì. Quindi vide un cane con la lingua a penzoloni che tentava di leccare la melma per placare la sua sete. L'uomo disse: “Questo cane soffre la mia stessa sete.” Così ritornò nel pozzo, riempì una scarpa e diede da bere al cane. Dio lo ringraziò e dimenticò i suoi peccati.} Al profeta fu chiesto: “Messaggero di Dio, saremo ricompensati per la gentilezza verso gli animali?” Egli disse: {Esiste una ricompensa per la gentilezza verso ogni forma di vita, animale o umana.}10
